Kids Yoga is a one hour class taught by Michelle McDonald at Active Mind Body Studio in Caringbah. These classes are after school on Friday at 4.30pm. They run during school term only for ages ranging from Kindergarten to Year 6 and break during school holidays. There are many benefits as it empowers kids in meaningful and lasting ways, it supports a child’s physical, emotional and cognitive development by strengthening their body, increasing focus, aiding stress management, creating community and best of all encouraging total joy and happiness. Technology has introduced stressors into the lives of today’s children that previous generations did not experience, now is the perfect time to sit back and reassess how to counter that negativity by adding a positive balance with Yoga and Meditation.
Michelle has taught in pre-schools, schools, vacation care and for private events, her classes for children are fun, engaging, entertaining, safe and inclusive.
